On Saturday, 17 October, Garðafest will take place in Vágur.

Á Gørðunum area is a natural gathering place in Vágur, home to shops, businesses and organisations that all have one thing in common: they provide a variety of services to visitors. Now, for the first time, they are organising Garðafest.

Garðafest is a unique event featuring culture, music, delicious food, local drinks, a cosy atmosphere and dancing — and, not least, a tour around Gørðunum.

The festival begins with a tour, featuring concerts at three different locations around Gørðunum, with tasty treats served alongside the music.

Afterwards, we will sit down for a meal at Garðslon. In good spirits, we will enjoy a delicious meal, have something nice to drink and, above all, sing and enjoy each other’s company.

After the meal, we will head out on another tour around Gørðunum, where concerts will take place at two additional locations, with more delicious treats served alongside the music.

Following the concerts, there will be a public dance at Stóra Pakkhús, with proceeds going to the Grindabátafelagið in Vágur. At Jugga’s, there will also be live music playing late into the night.
